The mission of SCI Social Capital Inc. is to strengthen communities by connecting diverse individuals and organizations through civic engagement initiatives. We envision a nation where individuals are strongly connected to their neighbors and play an active role in shaping the destiny of their communities. This increase in ‘social capital’ will result in communities that are safer, healthier and more vital. SCI is currently working on this mission and vision in 9 Massachusetts locations.

SCI hosted its 2nd Annual Youth Civic Showcase and Awards Saturday June 20th at Bunker Hill Community College. The event brought together Youth Councils from 5 Massachusetts communities to discuss strategies for youth to improve communities. For more information on the event please click here.
